Identify Flutter from the package
Flutter’s Android documentation names libflutter.so as a package marker and describes flutterEmbedding manifest metadata as a secondary check. Inspect the actual files and manifest together.
A Flutter module can live inside a larger native app. Report the evidence and the part of the app it describes, rather than treating one marker as proof of the whole architecture.
Look beyond decompiled Java
A Java decompiler shows the Android shell, plugins, and libraries. Release Dart logic is compiled, so Java output alone does not cover the app’s request behavior.
Inspect native files, bundled assets, plugin calls, and runtime requests. Map each finding to the exact app build and workflow.
Track the data before it is sent
Find where user input becomes a request model, where headers are added, and where the payload is encoded or encrypted. The visible UI action gives these parts a common purpose.
Follow response parsing too. A client needs the same field meanings, error handling, and paging rules that the app uses.
Treat obfuscation as a change in evidence
Obfuscation can remove useful names. It does not make the server request stop having a method, body, and response. Use package evidence and observed behavior together.
A framework marker identifies technology. It does not prove that authentication or encryption has been rebuilt. Keep those results tied to their own tests.
Check the package with Android tools
Use APK Analyzer to list packaged files and print the manifest. Look for the runtime library in every included architecture, and review whether the package is a complete APK or a split set.
The commands below read package structure. They do not recover request signing or prove successful server calls. Save the file list with the analysis so another person can trace the framework finding.
apkanalyzer files list app.apk
apkanalyzer manifest print app.apkDeliver a client with repeatable checks
Define the calls, account requirements, and target environment. Test a fresh session and the requested workflow outside the app.
Keep setup notes, redacted request examples, and pass/fail results with the code. Customers should know what to run and what a correct result looks like.
